Once you register you&#8217;ll be able to submit self-assessment tax returns each year or instruct an accountant to do it for you on your behalf. This is where its helpful to have a separate business bank account such as Tide&#8217;s business account for sole traders. The business is a separate entity and therefore all finances are separate and personal liability is decreased although directors still have duties.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Some of the responsiblities of being a company director as follows:<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Filing Confirmation Statements to Companies House, Annual Accounts to HMRC and self-assessment&#8217;s as a director of a company. You can pay yourself through dividends, with a Director&#8217;s salary or a combination of both.
