{"id":2079,"date":"2023-06-01T18:15:50","date_gmt":"2023-06-01T18:15:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bakingtogether.com\/?p=2079"},"modified":"2023-06-01T18:19:11","modified_gmt":"2023-06-01T18:19:11","slug":"reviewing-your-customer-journey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bakingtogether.com\/article\/reviewing-your-customer-journey\/","title":{"rendered":"Reviewing Your Customer Journey"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Have you visited your customer journey lately?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It can be helpful to map out the journey your customer takes from:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>when they first find you<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>through the process of ordering your bakes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>to leaving satisfied<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and beyond<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the ways you can identify any points of friction in your customers\u2019 journey is by <a href=\"https:\/\/bakingtogether.com\/article\/positive-feedback-loops\/\">getting feedback which I wrote about here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you are armed with this feedback you can make improvements to increase the conversions of audience members to customers and increase satisfaction rates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some improvements you could make:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Are you communicating enough? <a href=\"https:\/\/bakingtogether.com\/article\/engaging-with-your-ideal-customers\/\">Add points of communication<\/a> to keep customers in the loop, especially where there are longer processing times or holdups.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Are payments easy to make? Increase trust and ease.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Are your profiles filled out and your shop\/stall clear? Include relevant information about what you sell on your social profiles, website copy or marketplace profile.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Are your products clear? Include all relevant information what they are, timescales, prices, and dietary and allergen information.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Can your packaging be improved?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Could you add tracking to orders or set clearer expectations of order fulfilment?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Are your photos selling your products as good as they can be?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Can people find your website\/stall\/profile?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is it easy for people to leave a review? You\u2019ll want this for yourself to add social proof that your bakes are as good as you say they are.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is it easy for custom requests to be made? Could it be made easier with a form or template, a tasting session, or a meeting to discuss?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Hope you\u2019ll find these ideas helpful to get thinking about your customer journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It can be helpful to draw out a flowchart of the stages.
